Azores Yacht Solutions was created by Filipe Gonçalves and his wife Lauren Hamm. They have more than 25 years combined experience in the yachting industry. Filipe was born and raised in Horta, and he started sailing at the age of 5. He became a professional yacht captain in 2007 and since then he has been working on the sea. Lauren was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and started sailing at the age of 7. They met in 2015 in the Caribbean, both working as Captains and decided to create a career together.
From their many years of experience working on yachts and working with other agencies, they have decided to take their knowledge and help other yachts with the things they found most helpful from agencies.
